WOW! What a reaction!
First. It was never my inten-
tion to hurt any collector with
my statement/question that
it sometimes might be over-
rated to collect rare records.
My intention was merely to
give my point of view
of collecting. I beleive
it really should be about
collecting records that has
meant something to you in
the past. And that it has
nothing to do with the
finacial value of the item.
Just chasing records because
of their market value...well
that´s really not my style
although I accept that there
are some who work in that
way. But hopefully because
that´s their profession.
Otherwise I believe the
collected items are reduced
to only beeing just another
commodity among others
and worth nothing emotion-
ally to the 'collector'.
Thanks to everyone that
have mailed to us with
their point of view and in
a couple of cases also
wrote why that particular
record was so important for
them to get hold of.
So my final statement in
this is as last;
Collect the things you like
and that means something
to you - regardless of value!
